He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy L. Forshey and Rebecca V Forshey (Pfahler); and his brothers, Ernest, Leonard and Kenneth.

He is survived by: his wife Glenda Sorge; and his sons, Lloyd A. Jr. (Regina) of Duncansville and Guy E. (Nancy L.) of Hollidaysburg.
