He was predeceased by: his parents, John Capouellez and Geraldine Capouellez (Conrad); his son Leo Jr.; and his siblings, Clifford, John "Squirt" and Ethel Eckenrode.
He is survived by: his wife Matilda "Tillie" DeCarlo; his children, Cathy Keefe (Ray) of Altoona, Glenn Capouellez of Ohio and Patrick Capouellez of Altoona; his daughter-in-law Rhonda Capouellez; his grandchildren, Brande Morrison, Ashley Minicozzi, Vanessa Stuckless, Clayton Capouellez, Ian Capouellez, Marcia Coho, Michelle Metcalfe, Barbara Karwowski, Sarah Snyder, Jordan Capouellez and Makenzy Capouellez; and his brother Leonard Capouellez (Louise). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received from 4 pm. to 8 pm. on Friday at the Santella Funeral Home where a vigil for the deceased will be held and COVID-19 protocols will be followed.
