With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John William Kane Jr. of Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 26, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Sr. and Catherine Kane (Mauk); his siblings, Louise Massar (Jack), Sis Nagle (Jim), Pete Kane, Tom Kane (Ann) and Billy Kane; and his grandson Maverick "Mav" Baker.

He is survived by: his wife Carole Kane (Bowes); his son Justin Baker (Kerry); his grandson Jack Baker; and his brother Chuck Kane (Lorri).

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Blair County Suicide Prevention in honor of his grandson, Maverick Baker.
