He is survived by: his wife Helen Bearer; his children, Nancy Cherry (Michael) of Altoona, John A. of Puzzletown and Richard (Tammy) of Hollidaysburg; his grandchildren, Jason, Julia and Joey; his great grandchild Raiden; and his siblings, Jane Hufford, Agnes Carper, Susan Lanzendorfer, Francis, Sherman and Robert.
