It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Wood of Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, born in Edmond, West Virginia, who passed away on February 19, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Judith McVaney; and his brother Bill Wood. He is survived by: his children, Jamie Wood (Bonnie) and Tammy Verbonitz; and his siblings, Chuck Wood (Olga), Dave Wood (Lucy) and Ellen Fleshman. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jim's name to the American Legion in Williamsburg, 1325 Yellow Springs Dr., Williamsburg, PA 16693.
