He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Smith and Alexander Smith; his brothers, Lewis Clyde and Alexander; and his wife Marjorie Smith (Schippers).
He is survived by: his daughters, Courtney Kelly (Tres) of Emmitsburg, MD and Stacey Basso (Bob) of San Francisco, CA; his grandchildren, Grant, Allison, Lauren, Alayna Kelly, Julia, Emilia Basso and Dede Kazmaier; and his great grandchild Christopher (Jessica) of Harrisburg, PA..
