Fred Imler Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Imler Sr. of Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Fred Imler Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Richard and Darrell Imler; and his wife Joann (Erb). He is survived by: his children, Nancy Morgan (Harry), Cheryl Davis, Fred Imler II (Cherrie Henry) and Karen Hetrick (Barry); and his girlfriend Audrey Burgan of Altoona. He is also survived by his four children; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
The viewing will be held at the Jaffa Shrine Center in Altoona from 1 to 8 p. m. Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021, where a Masonic funeral will be held at 8 p. m., and also from 10 to 11 a. m. Monday, Jan. 18, 2021, at the Jaffa Shrine Center in Altoona where a funeral service will be held at 11 a. m. (masks and social distancing will be necessary).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations in memory of Fred please be made to the Jaffa Shriners, PO Box 1984, Altoona, PA 16603-1984 or to the Central Pennsylvania Community Foundation, 1330 Eleventh Avenue, Altoona, PA 16601.
