He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Vaniel and Helen Vaniel (Novak); and his brothers, Robert and William. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Kray; his children, Diane Wilt (Doug) of Roaring Spring and Bruce Vaniel (Elizabeth) of Duncansville; his granddaughters, Monica Logan (David), Tekyra Closson (Shawn) and Samantha Wilt; his great grandchildren, Livia, Ellayna, Kaitlyn, Adisen and Kolten; and his sister Dorothy.
