It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy J. Sagaities of Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 26, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sigmund Jorkasky and Rose E. Jorkasky (Pokorny); her husband Alex J. Sagaities; her son William M.; and her siblings, Therese McClain, Patricia Wertner, Marie O'Leary, Helen Benton and Eugene.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Keppler (Robert) of Duncansville and Alex J. Sagaities III (Donna) of Altoona; her grandchildren, Christine Keppler of Orlando, Fla., Shonna Freet of Altoona, Jessica Comer (Thad) of Harrison City, Heather Perry (Doug) of Hollidaysburg and Tyler Sagaities (Lizzy) of Hollidaysburg; her great grandchildren, Josie, Bennett, Laurel and Landon; her sister Phyllis Maniglia (Tony) of Carney Point, N. J.; and her daughter-in-law Julie Sagaities of Hollidaysburg.
Visitation will be private. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a. m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 301 Spruce St., Hollidaysburg, Pa., with Father Alan Thomas officiating. (COVID-19 social distancing and masks are required).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to Hollidaysburg Public Library, 1 Furnace Drive, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
