He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Himes and Dorothy Himes (Briggs); and his son David Himes. He is survived by: his family Dennis; his wife Sue (Knisely) of Hollidaysburg; his children, Dennis R. Himes Jr. of Mt. Pleasant and Lori Taylor (Craig) of Altoona; and his stepson Donald Carnell. He is also survived by seven siblings, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous sister/brother in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
