Burton LeRoy Orwig Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Burton LeRoy Orwig of Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 13, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Burton LeRoy Orwig to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Orwig and Beatrice Orwig (Wilcox); his son Burt "Tyke" Jr.; his siblings, Doris, Donna, Donald and Willis Jr.; and his nephew Steve.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Thompson; his children, Bob (Michelle) and Patte (Joe Nyanko); his nephew Mike (Patricia); his grandchildren, Dalton Orwig (Vicky), Carson Orwig (Carmen), Paige, Hannah, Lindsay and Ally Nyanko; and his great grandchildren, Izzy and Peyton.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (801 Allegheny St, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648). A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
