We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2019, at the age of 83, Ruth E. (Benson) Varndell (Holbrook, Pennsylvania), born in Cleveland, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Benson and Helen Benson (Miller); her husband Herman C. Varndell, Jr.; and her siblings, John Benson, Mary Alice Young and Martha Wolfgang.

She is survived by: her children, Pamela Brown (Roland) of California, PA, Leisa Conklin (Kenneth) of Vestaburg, PA and Susan Taylor (James) of Pine Bank, PA; her grandchildren, Terri Brown, Coltin Conklin, Amy Tuttle and Tara Taylor; and her siblings, Paul Benson of Avon Lake, OH and Janet Benson of Lodi, OH. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Valley Chapel Church, 2327 Golden Oaks Rd. Holbrook, PA 15341.
