We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2020, at the age of 73, James R. Pettit of Holbrook, Pennsylvania, born in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hartley and Ella Isabell Pettit (Rutan); and his son James Barry Pettit. He is survived by: his wife Eva Jean Morris; his children, Joyce Ann Kiger (Don Powell) of Spraggs and Doug Pettit (Christine) of Holbrook; his grandchildren, Sierra and Savannah Pettit; and his siblings, Floyd William Pettit (Von) of Holbrook, Carol June Strope of Lake Station, IN, Donald R. Pettit (Carol Jacobs) of Holbrook and Jerry L. Pettit (Linda) of Holbrook. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to West Greene High School FFA, 1352 Hargus Creek Rd. Waynesburg, PA 15370.
