He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Rush and Margaret Rush (Souder); his brothers, Dale, Merrill and Glenn Rush; and his stepdaughter Cherie Schott.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Rush (French); his stepchildren, Gregory Schott and Kimberly Dudzinski (Robert); his grandchildren, Anna, Thomas and Kelly Dudzinski; his siblings, Dennis Rush (Rita), Evelyn Gallew and Marie Jeffries; his sister-in-law Cindy Rush; and his pet Bella. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
