He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine Macklin and Elisha Scott Macklin; and his siblings, Adelaide and Alfred. He is survived by: his wife Jane; his children, Janel C. Macklin and Eric D. Macklin; and his niece Phyliss Gimber.
