He was predeceased by: his parents, James William and Helen Mae Miller Thompson. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Neiswender; his children, Stephen Wayne Thompson (Alice Thompson) of Westminster, MD, Susan Jane Kiscadden (Robert C. Osika) of Sinking Spring, PA, Linda Ruth Sweigart (Stephen Harclerode) of Lebanon, PA and Johna Hitzler (Richard Hitzler) of Lebanon, PA; his stepchildren, Donnie Ray Swope (Judi Swope) of Wernersville, PA and Elana Jean Glant (Terry Glant) of Newmanstown, PA; and his siblings, Ernest Ray Thompson of Lebanon, PA, Lois M. Shreve of Linglestown, PA and Claire D. Nagg of Tremont, PA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

“So sorry to hear of the passing of such a wonderful man. He could always put a smile on my face. I will greatly miss the many afternoon talks we used to have at The High Knob and the many run ins we had at the grocery store. Our sympathies go out to Jean and all of the Thompson family.
