It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet L. Kurek of Hiller, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 14, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Podlogar and Margaret Podlogar (Farkas); her husband Richard; her siblings, John, Eugene, Richard Podlogar and Genevieve Patsko; and her close friend Sister Mary Dominic Rechtorik.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Michalsky of Brownsville, Cindy Despot (John) of Brownsville and Lori Ballone (Michael) of Brownsville; her grandchildren, Eric Michalsky (Amanda), Jared Michalsky (Kimberly), Michael Michalsky (Michele), Kelsey Despot, Emily Despot and Nicholas Despot; her great grandchildren, George, Aubrie, Oakley, Liberty and Kennedy; and her sister Margaret Ann Brightwell.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to ask everyone to pursue a random act of kindness to someone, especially the elderly.
