She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Grinnage Simmons and Edward R. Simmons; her husbands, Leon W. Green and Lewis E. Sexton; her siblings, Joan L. Simmons, Ronald and Edward Simmons; and her son Leon W. "Winky" Green II.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sonja Green-Johnson (late Hafiz Johnson) and Teresa Green-Gassert (Gary Wetzel); her son-in-law Danny Gassert; her stepdaughters, Monica L. Moore of Landover, MD and Shelbrece'Angel'Sexton of York; her grandchildren, Robert Green, Stephen Green, Teronya Green-Rhyns (Shundre), Ryan Gassert (Sarah), Leondra Green, Devon Gassert, Justin Gassert, Olivia Green and Tamia Green; her great grandchildren, Kevontae, Zariah, Caiden Green, Nora Gassert, Laniya Mitchell, Alora Green and Kalani Stazewski; and her sister-in-law Barbara L. Green of Harrisburg. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
