He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vance M. Smith and Jane Morgan Smith; his wife Peggy Dunlap; his children, Suzanne D. Smith of Wilmington, DE and Randall M. Smith (Robin) of Richardson, TX; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Smith of Wilsonville, OR and Andrew Smith of Dallas, TX; and his siblings, Dorothy Walker of Hickory, Roberta "Bertie" Farrar of Columbia, TN, Richard L. Smith of Hickory, Olive Ferrell, Elsie Smith, Arthur Smith, Vance M. Smith Jr. and Paul Smith.
The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the Mt. Pleasant Township Community Center, 20 Wabash St., Hickory, PA 15340.
