He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alvin Stewart and Alverda Powelson Stewart; his children, Tia Krah of McDonald and Brian Stewart (Reba) of Fort Mills, SC; his grandsons, Brandon Chiera, Cade, Brody Krah, Dustin Stewart (Kristin) and Kevin Stewart (Katie); his great grandchildren, Bricyn, Aubrey and Lovey Stewart; his close friend Brenda Zanakis; his daughter Karen Stewart; his brothers, Richard and James Stewart; and his son-in-law Rick Krah. He was also cherished by his grandsons sporting events, where "Pap".
