He was predeceased by: his wife Gertrude N. Crabtree Carpenter; and his parents, Irving Carpenter and Gertrude Sylvester Carpenter. He is survived by: his children, Nancy (Phil Yarnall) of Downingtown, Linda (Bruce Manning) of Coatesville and Frank Jr. (Susan Laub Carpenter) of St. Petersburg, FL; and his sister Mary (Bob Pyle) of West Chester. He is also survived by four grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren.
