He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas J. Simpson (Grace) of Boiling Springs and Kathleen (Fritz); his wife Sunny; his children, Jacob R. Simpson of Camp Hill, Lauren K. Fuhrman (Joie Wehr) of Danville, Stephanie P. Simpson (Kyle Lane) of Dillsburg and Meaghan A. Cole (Allen) of Coal Township; his grandchildren, Lucian J. Lane, Liam J. Lane and Emma P. Lane; his brother Stevie Simpson of Florida; his half-brother Joe Levendsky (Cheryl) of Wellsville; and his siblings, Steve Simpson and Julie Simpson.
