It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra L. Getz (Hershey, Pennsylvania), born in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 17, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Adelson and Shirley Adelson (Moranz); her husband Ronald Getz; her son Michael Getz; and her sister Carol Adelson.

She is survived by: her daughter Robin Tomeo (Joseph) of Camp Hill; and her grandchildren, Brandon Tomeo, Courtney Getz and Carley Getz.

“I was so sorry to learn about Sandy’s death only recently, We were friends from our days at Applewood (elementary) School and stayed in touch over the years until the death of her son, when everything changed for her. Sandy was whip-smart and the fastest reader I ever knew. She was a loyal and loving friend and I miss her! Condolences to all her family. Sandy Witzemann Duducu”
