He was predeceased by: his parents, George J. Schaeffer and Nellie E. Schaeffer (Diehm); his wife Marilis Schaeffer (DeLong); and his great grandchild Milo Schaeffer. He is survived by: his children, William Paul Schaeffer of Hummelstown, Wayne Thomas Schaeffer of Hershey, Wade Carl Schaeffer of Cleona and Wendy Lee Rizo-Patron of Conestoga. He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.
