He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold C. Buckingham and Dorothy Buckingham (Coats); and his siblings, Walter W. Buckingham and Barbara Williams. He is survived by: his wife Thelma B. Hoyer Buckingham (Buchanan); his children, Keith W. Buckingham of Philadelphia, Robert C. Buckingham, Jr. (Amy) of Greer, SC, Dr. David M. Buckingham of Indianapolis, IN, Barry D. Buckingham of Harrisburg and Susan B. Zearing (Herbert) of Linglestown; his stepchildren, Jeffrey Hoyer (Paula) of York, Denise Long (Jerry) of Harrisburg and Gayle Allwein (Steven) of Hummelstown; his brother Harold C. Buckingham, Jr. (Joyce); and his sister-in-law Anne Buckingham. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
