She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Murphy and Emma Murphy (Cookerly); her husband Galen Simmons; her children, Savannah Deimler and Whitney Galen Simmons; and her grandchildren, Ariel Marie Simmons-Powell and Whitney L. Simmons.
She is survived by: her children, Sterl Simmons and Gail Bunc (Emil); her grandchildren, Kim Dolly, Kelly D'Adderio, Ian Simmons, David Deimler (Kylie), Patrick, Jason Shandor, Mark Moran and Ginger Marshall; and her close friend George Hasselbath. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
