With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marcus Waid Gainer (Hershey, Pennsylvania), born in Racine, Ohio, who passed away on October 19, 2018 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, William Gainer and Susan Gainer; and his children, Steven Mark Gainer (Sharon), Ellen Lynele "Lynn" Dowhower (Dennis) of Lock Haven, PA, James David Gainer (Denise), Lori Ann Lidle (Brydon Lidle, III) of Hershey, PA, John Anthony Gainer (Jennifer) and Chris Gainer (Karen). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
