He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Pamela L. Chandler (Keeran); his parents, Frances Swenson Chandler and Lennart Swenson; his adoptive father William Chandler; his children, Kevin Jon Chandler (Jodie) of Forest, VA and Michelle Hill (Robert Alan) of Islandmagee; his grandchildren, Jocelyn, Emily Hill, Cambrie and Jack Chandler; and his brother Fred S. Chandler of Bellmore, NY..

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Leonard's Honor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
