Trey Stackman wrote a sympathy message

“I flew with John “Rat” Androski at the 138 FS (Boys from Syracuse). He was among the first pilots I got to know. He immediately accepted me as a member and friend. John was quiet but with wisdom and experience few have. I call him a “Big Picture” fighter pilot. He shut out the minutia and focused only on the important, need-to-know details of the mission. John and Chris visited us in Pittsburgh. They were kind to our family. Carolyn and I will never forget him. Trey “Slammer” Stackman”
