He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Bogrette and Kathryn Bogrette (Cully); his son David Cully Bogrette; and his brother Edmund Bogrette. He is survived by: his wife Mary A. Bogrette (Cedro); his children, Michele Bogrette (Rebecca Gensel), John Bogrette, III, James Bogrette (Christine), Lauren Grubb (Richard), Mark Bogrette (Patty), Kevin Bogrette and Daniel Bogrette (Karie); his grandchildren, Kayleigh (John), Nelson (Dominique), Steven (Zoe), Caroline (Logan), Rebecca (Luke), Morgan (Kris), Kirsten (Jared), Elizabethe, Lexie and Makenna; and his great grandchildren, Oliver, Luna and John Henri.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 4:45 PM at the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory (88 Lucy Ave, Hershey, PA 17033). Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church (359 W Areba Ave, Hershey, PA 17033).
