He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay H. Sheaffer Sr. and Joan Heister (Malseed). He is survived by: his brother John Sheaffer (Robin) of Middletown; his nieces and nephews, Chad, Tyler, Janelle Sheaffer, Ashley, Taylor and Courtney Hurst; his aunts, Betty Seidel and Sara Sheaffer; and also, Kelly Hughes, Gerry Seidel, Kathy Hunt, Thomas Sheaffer, John Wright, Patricia Casey and Bonnie Foster.
