She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Walters and Ruby Walters (Campbell); her husband Richard B. Eckert; her son Thomas Eckert; and her sister Patricia Espenshade.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Eckert (Jane) and Cindy Horst (Robert); her grandchildren, Laura Eckert, Katie Eckert, Matthew Eckert, Molly Chahwala, Graham Horst and Adam Horst; and her brothers, Lester Walters (Fran), Richard Walters (Renee) and Douglas Walters (Sally). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
