He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Bazewicz and Bronislawa Pawczinska Bazewicz; his wife Margaret "Peggy" Ann Vollmer Bazewicz; and his siblings, Alexander "Wally" Bassett (Pearl), Victor Bassett, Bernice Bagdzinski (Benjamin) and Florence "Babe" Wasowski (Stanley).
He is survived by: his children, Robert, Elizabeth Bazewicz of Hummelstown, Janet, William Kearney of Concord, James and Tiffany Bazewicz of Succasunna; and his grandchildren, Katie Bazewicz Clark (Kyle), Scott Kearney (Charity), Tom Kearney (Michelle), Jessica Kearney Zini (Greg), Daniel Bazewicz (Tan), Brittany Kearney Teune (Patrick), Christopher Bazewicz, Becky Kearney York (Cameron), Dove Bazewicz and Oliva Bazewicz. He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren.
