He was predeceased by: his parents, Fay F. Long and Violette C. Long (Gibson); and his siblings, Calvin, Dick, Jean Quiggle and Edythe Kern.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Long (Huber); his sons, Todd (Richard) and Michael (Michelle); his grandchildren, Katharine, Malachi (Carissa), Grace and Benjamin; and his sisters, Lois Peterman, Nancy Thomas and Doris Steindel.
