She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Pabon and Lola Pabon (Vega); her sisters, Asuncion Ortiz and Lydia Ocasio; and her nephew Alfred Nazario.

She is survived by: her husband Rafael; her brother Fransico Pabon (Esmeralda); and her children, Miriam Taylor, Carol Pentol (Stan), Joanna Mowrer (Larry), Ruthie Gomez-Stuart (Thomas), Vivian Torres Miranda (Ray), Nicholas Torres and Emil Torres. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
