He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Catherine Witmer (Baney) and D. Paul Witmer, Sr.; his sister Aimie Rex (Witmer); his wife Caroline (Manbeck); his son David P. Witmer, III (Betti); his grandchildren, Marteen Witmer and Maggie Witmer; his son William C. Witmer (Coral); his grandson Derek Witmer; his nephew David P. Rex; his niece Eleanor Ann Ulrich (Rex); and also Robert W. Manbeck (Kathy). He was also cherished by his sons and grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to either the Zembo Shrine Children's Hospital or Wounded Warrior Project.
