David J. Tapparo Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David J. Tapparo in Hershey, Pennsylvania, born in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 26, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Tapparo (Arnold) and John Tapparo; his brother Frank Tapparo of Arlington, VA; and his nephew Todd Wirschem of Rochester, NY.. He is survived by: his wife Maryann Tapparo (McCandless); his children, Andrew Tapparo (Susan) of Topsfield, MA, Julie Hoskeer (Chris) of Boothbay Harbor, ME and John Tapparo (Sonja) of Dayton, OH; his grandchildren, Amy Kefalas, Amanda Tapparo, Nicole Schena (Chris) and Hunter Tapparo (Jessica); his great grandchild Colby Kefalas; his sisters-in-law, Marie Tapparo and Darlene Wirschem; and his nephews, David Tapparo, Stephen Tapparo and Jeffrey Wirschem.
A Mass will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 7:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Annunciation Parish (24 Conant St, Danvers, MA 01923). Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the O'Donnell Cremations-Funerals (167 Maple St, Danvers, MA 01923). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Annunciation Church (24 Conant St, Danvers, MA 01923). A burial will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Annunciation Cemetery (155 Hobart St, Danvers, MA 01923).
In lieu of flowers, donations in David's memory may be made to St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers, MA 01923 or to the Perkins School for the Blind, 175 N. Beacon St., Watertown, MA 02472.
