He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Dower and Eva Dower (Day); his former wives, Marian Dower (Wagner) and Arlene Dower (Deck); and his siblings, Joseph Dower and Doris Machamer.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Irene Dower; his children, Ruth Bastress (Lonnie), Daniel Dower, Jr. (Melissa) and Jodie Nardo (Frank); his grandchildren, Stephen Dower, Andrew Dower (Katelyn), Elizabeth Dower, Sarah Shellenberger (Trey), Gigi Nardo and Frankie Nardo; his great grandchildren, Finley and Callum Dower; and his siblings, Elizabeth "Betty" Lawson and Harold Dower.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial contributions be made to The Heart of Christ Church, Encounter Church of Palmyra, or Hospice of Central PA.
