It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cleata Akins (Hershey, Pennsylvania), born in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 29, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Barger and Ethel Barger (Kepple); and her husband Veryl. She is survived by: her children, Susan Longchamp (Gregory) of Gap and Ronald Akins (Kathleen) of Palmyra; and her grandchildren, Andrew Akins, Sr. (Brianna) of Palmyra and Jennifer Ramirez (Sergio) of Jonestown. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
