He was predeceased by: his grandson Kyler Owens; and his siblings, Ralph Schell (June), Grace Hamilton (Harold), Helen Powell (Ward) and Alice Reilly (Hayes).
He is survived by: his spouse Nancy Wenger Schell; his children, Connie Owens (Ralph), Jody Scott (Wayne) and Andrew Schell (Monica); and his brother-in-law Wilmer Wenger. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
