He was predeceased by: his spouse Mary L. Keeney (Craul); and his parent Sarah Sr (Wallick). He is survived by: his parent Charles S. Keeney, Sr.; and his daughters, Diana M. Winter (David) of Hallam, PA, Cindy Bowers (Blane) of Mount Wolf, PA, Brenda Miller of York, PA, Alice Hake of Wrightsville, PA and Pamela Richards of Windsor, PA. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren.
