He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude and Mary; his brothers, Edward and Richard; his former wife Kathleen Wentz Strickler; and his daughter Sharon Wentz Strickler.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his daughters, Kathleen Haase (Norman) and Susanne Nicol (Colin); and also, John Stailey and Carolyn Joyner (David). He is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
