She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Mills and Anita Mills; her husband Arnold J. Lodes; her daughter Mishelle R. Simmons; her brother Robert J. Mills, Sr.; and her grandchildren, Ariel Powell and Whitney Simmons.
She is survived by: her great grandchildren, Naomi and Whitney Powell; her sister Kathleen M. Douglas; and her son-in-law Sterl Simmons.
In lieu of flowers, Anita requested memorial contributions be made to her church.
