He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman S. Buckles and Dorothy Buckles (Musselman); his son Frederick Sterling Buckles Jr.; his grandson Todd Eisenhauer; his great grandchild James Sanders; and his sisters, Helen Persing and Kathy Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Fasold; and his children, Deb L. (Ed L. Hockenbrocht), Lori (Bill Tasker), Lee Ann (Bob Boska), Michelle (Harry Cornellius), Rick (Rosa Buckles) and Todd (Tina Buckles). He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
