It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Swanson of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, born in Sykesville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 26, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter A. Swanson and Martha R. Swanson (Kellar); his brother Raymond B. Swanson; and his parents-in-law, Frank and Gladys Mattson.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Swanson (Mattson); his children, William D. Swanson (Christine), Thomas G. Swanson (Karen) and Nancy L. Pallo (Mark); his grandchildren, Katie Manzano (Daniel), Karl Swanson, William Swanson (Kelly), Ashley Hunkus (Greg), Jacob Pallo, Lindsey Kirila (Ron), Kellie Corder (Chuck), Meredith Pallo and Robert Swanson; and his great grandchildren, Elijah, Wyatt, Caleb, Logan, Paisley, Judah, Matteo and Dawson. He is also survived by caregiver for many years, Bill is survived by three children.
