With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Violet (Bowersox) M. Hilliard (Hermitage, Pennsylvania), born in Fairmount City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 6, 2019 at the age of 102. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brown and May Carolina Bowersox (Vogus); and her son Ray Hilliard. She is survived by: her children, Theodore E. Hilliard, Jr. (Mary Jane) of Hermitage and Connie Shick of Pulaski; her sister Lucinda Springer of Arizona; and her husband Theodore. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, fourteen great- grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
