He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Takacs and Mari Takacs (Csicsok); his wife Marilou Mauck; his sister Margaret White; his son Stephen G. Takacs; his grandson Joseph Gierchak; his stepgreat-granddaughter Makalia Brown; and his former wife Lorraine Takacs (Bean).
He is survived by: his daughters, Gloria Kaiser (late Norm), Judy Christie (Howard), Darlene Kilgore, Margaret Gierchak and Symantha Erme (Scott); and his stepdaughter Darlene Connelly (Neil). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
