He was predeceased by: his parents, James Garrett and Margaret Garrett (Farkas). He is survived by: his wife Carol Tremmel; his children, Shannon Thompson (Donnell) of Aurora, IL, Jennifer Bartok (Albert) of Pensacola, FL and Todd Garrett of Hermitage, PA; his grandchildren, Caine, Alana Williams, Jack and Anna Thompson; and his sisters, Cheryl Fitzgerald (Mike) and Linda Cheritt.
