He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Antus and Ann Antus (Tkach); his daughter Tamara Barbir; and his siblings, Michael Antus, Jr., John, George Antus, Elanor Kaye, Ann Koraus and Irene Valentine.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia L Bennett; his children, Cindy Skalak of Durham, NC, Geralyn Vernille of Mesa, AZ and Robert S. Antus, Jr. of Arizona; and his grandchildren, John Vernille, III, Matthew Vernille (Erin Plummer), Danny Skalak (Suzannah) of Georgia, Michael Vernille (Rachel Polochak), Jackie Osborne and Lindsay Skalak of Florida. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the current restrictions from Covid-19, the family will be holding a Celebration of Life at a later date.
