It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert A. Balach of Hermitage, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 1, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Balach and Rose Balach (Yankovich); his siblings, Marilyn, Mitzi Balach, Ellen Bozanich and George "Chips" Balach; his nephews, Gregory and Drew Balach; and his brothers-in-law, George Kusich, Ed Bocko and George Bozanich.
He is survived by: his siblings, Violet Kusich, Nana Bocko, North, S. C., William Balach (Linda) of Estero, FL and Yvonne Sylvester (David) of Hoschton, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church (65 S Keel Ridge Rd, Hermitage, PA 16148). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to either Keystone Blind Association, 3056 East State St. Hermitage, PA 16148; St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, 65 South Keel Ridge Rd., Hermitage, PA 16148; or UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, 5150 Centre Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15232.
